J2EE Software Engineer

We are currently seeking qualified Java/J2EE Software Engineers to support our expanding activities in the Huntington Beach, CA area in direct support of the FCS Software Integration and Test Team. Candidates need not reside in the Huntington Beach area, but the work is planned to be performed there (commuting allowed).

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in enterprise Java technologies within multi-tier J2EE frameworks including using Web Services in that environment. Experience, understanding and expertise desired regarding:

  • SOAP, WSDL, UDDI technologies, XML/XSL/XSD Schemas, service-oriented architectures, and object oriented analysis and design
  • MS SQL Server and/or Oracle. Capable of working in a Unix / Linux environment and experience using source code control tools
  • Software design and development principles, such as the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software debugging techniques, test-driven development, CMM/CMMI and/or other quality frameworks; and, UML

Software Test Engineer

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to support our test and analysis activities in the northern Virginia area. This effort will be in direct support of the test and analysis of a developing net-centric defense system. The position includes working as part of a small, diverse team to create and document test scenarios and cases. Applicant will provide system and component testing support, requirements and design feedback, and develop test scripts for automated regression testing. Activities will include execution of test scenarios/cases, analysis of results to determine functionality, and in some cases investigation of defects to determine the root cause of failure mechanisms. Position will also include interacting with both the business department and Quality Assurance to develop and track system and test related metrics as well as assist in assessing products for quality gates to ensure Military Service standards and expectations are exceeded. Applicant will have the capability to expand knowledge base and experience in the system engineering process.

Computer Simulation Analysts

Qualified individuals supporting various studies and analyses using computer simulations for principally federal contracts (including task and project leadership). Positions require experience in some combination of probability and statistics, CAD, documentation, technical report writing/briefing, simulation data base preparation and testing, scenario development, studies and operational analyses.
