This position is for a software requirements engineer within the Common Hardware

Candidate will work with system engineers, system architect and customer representatives
to analyze and decompose higher level system requirements and system use cases to derive
software requirements below the Prime Item Development Specification level.
Candidate will work with System Engineering IPT to analyze and allocate performance
requirements across software components. Candidate will coordinate with CHS software
developers and other IPTs on requirements issues across multiple product lines; coordinate
with test team during review, evaluation and derivation of requirements for testability;

Common Integrated Air and Missile Defense XML Schema Engineer (CIXS) |
The selected candidate will develop requirement for and support the IBCS
implementation of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Common IAMD XML
Schema (CIXS) in an Enterprise Integration Bus publish/subscribe architecture.
The selected candidate will support the development of the data domain model and
interface specifications for the IBCS software. Daily interaction and support to
the IAMD Project Office coordination of CIXS message development will be
required. This includes support to the IAMD in its role as a member of Joint Air
and Missile Defense community CIXS Configuration Control Board (CCB) to review
Problem Reports and Change Requests (CRs) for impacts to IBCS and prepare and
present CRs for incorporation of IBCS data requirements into the CIXS schema.
The candidate will also participate in and make presentations to JAMD
net-centric TIMs and workshops
as necessary.
Requirements: 10-15 years experience in development and use of Net Centric
