The long ascent begins with a slog up through the foothills. No getting lost in the forest boys !
It was a bit nippy ! Here Matt and Dan get comfy ;-)
The objective is in site !
Russell getting ready for the first roping-up... for those of us with families ;-)

Matt or Russell, the most experienced of us, lead all of the pitches. Were not TOTAL idiots !
Great views followed with the occasional 300 year old Bristle Cone Pine to see up close...
Here Dan carefully crosses the "W". With about 1,000 ft. of DEATH on either side it was thrilling to say the least !
VICTORY! Team Rhino scores yet another victory with no injuries. Except for the fact that now we had 2 miles to hike through deep snow with no show shoes ! We were more than a little bit late getting home. Paul missed his anniversary dinner with Erika ! Yea, he's still married ;-)
