Scientific & Engineering Support

Supporting the SMDC Office of Technical Interoperability and Matrix Center (TIMC) in the areas of space and missile defense. Support includes program management and technical support in the assessment of Army requirements in the development of the Integrated Architecture Behavioral Model (IABM) (used by Joint Single Integrated Air Picture [SIAP] Systems Engineering Office, JSSEO, to define joint warfighting operating rules), assessments of cruise missile defense options; examination of blue force tracking methodologies, and the assessment and investigation of developments in Army DOTMLPF (doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel and facilities) as they affect and pertain to the mission of SMDC

  • Supporting the Army Material Test Directorate (WSMR) Engineering and Analysis contract support efforts focused on providing connectivity to the WSMR Inter Range Control Center (IRCC) as part of the overall Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Test Integration Network (ATIN) that will provide a common architecture across ATEC for distributed testing
  • Supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Counterproliferation Agency (AFNWCA) with program management support, scientific and technical (S&T) expertise. AFNWCA has the primary technical and programmatic AF responsibility for DoD and NNSA-DOE nuclear weapon and counterproliferation activities; and, providing S&T expertise in counter-CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) studies and analyses. Specific areas of support include: Program Management / Administrative support; Technical Studies, Reporting and System Acquisition; Operational and Combat Support; Computational, Modeling and Simulation Support; Test Planning, Execution and Analysis Support; Intelligence Support and Target Assessment; Classified Network Administration; and, Information Technology Security
  • Supporting the Air Force Special Operations Forces (SOF) operation of the MH-53 helicopter, including program management support, by delineating and managing a predictive maintenance program to enhance the capability of maintenance personnel to diagnose and predict impending technical problems in key rotating components before their failure causes serious maintenance or safety problems
  • Supporting the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Engineering Test and CBRN Test Support contracts providing technical services in the form of test concept development, test planning, test execution, test evaluation, test reporting, identifying test capabilities, and other technical and analytical support as required
